Interface Expert Plays Key Role in Milestone Settlement

Interface Consulting International, Inc., is proud to recognize the involvement and expert testimony of president Christopher J. Sullivan in the recent settlement of a case that awarded $115 million to the owner, Interface’s client, on a cost-reimbursable plus fixed fee contract.

In 2016, Enterprise Products (Enterprise) filed suit against Amec Foster Wheeler USA Corporation alleging cost increases and delays for the engineering, procurement, and construction of a propane dehydrogenation facility in Mont Belvieu, Texas. Amec Foster Wheeler was acquired by John Wood Group, PLC (Wood) in 2017.

During the three-month trial, Mr. Sullivan testified on behalf of Enterprise regarding a wide range of construction and engineering issues, including quantum, standard of care, project and change management, and labor productivity, among others. Before the court issued its judgment, the parties agreed to a settlement of $115 million from Wood to Enterprise.
