- In an International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) arbitration in Paris, France, between a North African energy company and a European EPC contractor, Interface Consulting analyzed close to $1 billion in claims for engineering changes, schedule delays, and other construction claim issues. The dispute arose from a multi-billion US dollar EPC contract to design and build an oil and gas production facility in North Africa.

The dispute involved the design and construction of a 1,200 MW combined cycle power plant in the Middle East.
- In an International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) arbitration in London, England, between a Persian Gulf energy company and an Asian EPC contractor, Interface Consulting analyzed and opined on various technical issues, including schedule delays, boil-off gas losses, and other commissioning issues. The dispute arose from a nearly $700 million EPC contract to design, procure, install, and commission an LNG import terminal in the Persian Gulf.
- In an International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) arbitration in Mexico City between an international oil and gas company and the owner of an LNG import terminal, Interface Consulting analyzed the impact of the planned construction of an adjacent LNG liquefaction facility on the existing LNG import terminal’s operations. Issues analyzed and testified to included impacts to the existing natural gas pipelines, the impact to the existing terminal’s ability to meet the LNG shippers’ contractual send-out flow rates, construction scheduling issues, impacts to the existing terminal’s infrastructure, and other technical issues.
