Interface Consulting Testifies in $667M Win for Energy Transfer
Chris Sullivan Acts as Expert Witness in Dakota Access Pipeline Case
Interface Consulting International Inc., a B. Riley company, announced that Chris Sullivan’s expert testimony supported Energy Transfer’s claims that the company incurred additional unplanned construction costs due to the violent protests and vandalism against the Dakota Access Pipeline.
Interface Consulting was engaged to review the various change orders agreed to between Energy Transfer and their pipeline construction contractors as well as quantify the additional construction costs due to the Dakota Access Pipeline protests. In the end, Interface Consulting’s team was able to identify $14.6 million in additional construction costs.
It was concluded that damages stemmed from the cost to repair vandalized construction equipment and pipeline components, contractor standby charges, contractor move around costs, the cost for additional fencing, and the cost of hiring additional security personnel.
