Interface Consulting International, Inc., will attend and exhibit at the American Bar Association (ABA) Forum on the Construction Industry conference at The Sheraton New Orleans on April 16-18, 2009.

Talking Green Blues: Energy, Sustainability, and Green Building Challenges Affecting the Construction Industry, this year’s theme, will focus on the legal issues surrounding green building projects as well as the challenges faced when constructing alternative energy facilities. As “going green” becomes more prevalent in the industry, so does the need for knowledge on this topic.

The conference will consist of plenary sessions and workshops such as The Green Explosion: The Legislative Impact of Alternative Energy, Climate Change and Sustainability on the Construction Industry, Alternative Energy 101, and The Contractual Issues of Turning Brownfields into Greenfields.

Post-Katrina New Orleans discussions are scheduled for Saturday, and the conference will conclude with a golf tournament at Lakewood Golf Club.

The next ABA Forum on the Construction Industry conference will be held October 15-16 in Philadelphia. Interface Consulting will be attending and exhibiting at the event. For more information, please visit http://www.abanet.org/forums/construction/home.html.
