Thomas M. Hetzel, Project Consultant, Added to Staff

Mechanical engineer Thomas Hetzel recently joined the Interface Consulting staff as project consultant. With a growing demand in the heavy industrial marketplace, he will enhance the firm’s client services in this area. Mr. Hetzel uses his hands-on facility design experience to assist clients with complex construction projects. His work includes forensic document analysis, damage quantification, and the technical analyses of construction and project management issues including cost overruns, schedule delays, defective workmanship, and labor productivity.

Karen P. Matthews Returns as Business Development Manager and Senior Consultant

Karen Matthews, previous quality assurance director at Interface Consulting for more than five years, returned to Interface in late 2015 in a new role: business development manager and senior consultant. She now oversees the firm’s business development and marketing efforts. With more than 25 years of consulting and engineering industry experience, Ms. Matthews defines strategic goals, identifies business opportunities, and maintains knowledge of current market conditions. She also manages and develops corporate branding and identity standards, implements marketing programs, coordinates corporate events, and oversees the firm’s professional development programs.

Caroline C. Van Dyke Promoted to Marketing Consultant Marketing/Administrative Assistant

Caroline Van Dyke was recently promoted to marketing consultant. Her skills in search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing were quickly recognized and led to her promotion. In her new role, she assists in the development of the firm’s corporate communications, administrative processes, and marketing and public relations initiatives. Ms. Van Dyke is a specialist in developing and maintaining the firm’s social and digital media, including the website, LinkedIn, Twitter, and e-mail blasts. She analyzes and creates content for online search engine optimization and paid internet advertising and tracks and reports performance for all online marketing campaigns. Additionally, Ms. Van Dyke provides management consulting, document management, and litigation support services as needed on client matters.
