Biography
Senior managing consultant Waylon Whitehead has 30 years of experience in engineering, construction, and project management. Mr. Whitehead has managed large teams, developed management procedures and processes, developed funding-level and execution phase schedules and budgets, negotiated construction and insurance claims, and conducted quantitative risk analysis to set contingency levels. He has pioneered methods and techniques to conduct quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses and employed them on major LNG, chemical, and refinery projects worldwide. His work has contributed to setting budgets and schedules for several mega projects that then successfully met those expectations. He has also assisted clients in legal, arbitration, and mediation settings by leveraging cost and schedule expertise along with risk analysis techniques to develop probabilistic models of dispute resolution outcomes. Mr. Whitehead’s diversified background gives him critical insight to provide advisory services during the project lifecycle as well as expert services in the dispute resolution process.
