Unforeseen Site Conditions

This illustration was developed by Interface Consulting after a survey of the as-built conditions of a roadway was performed. The dimensions were then transferred to a pre-construction profile of the roadway. Interface Consulting’s expert’s conclusions were that the construction drawings failed to properly locate existing private utilities, resulting in differing site conditions which required a change in the contractor’s scope of work.
